The history in a shrine is complicated for Japan.
The Shinto was ancient belief near animism originally.
The Buddhism came in Japan from China in around A.D. 500.And it mixed with the Shinto and the Buddhism.  While the Buddhism mixed with the Shinto, the Buddhism was the hierarchy of the top more than the Shinto.

After that when doing Western modernization, the Shinto and the Buddhism were cut and divided as a Japanese policy. Japan has decided an emperor for the greatest person of the Shinto Because for the Shinto became a national religion in Japan, Many shrines were included in the organization of the national Shintoism. The Shinto changed with that a lot.

A shrine is "JINJA" in Japanese, but, another, call is "OMIYA". When translating into English, that's a palace, but Maybe its etymology meant death by Indian Pali. Originally, There is a possibility that "the people who died" were being deified. A womb is called "baby's palace" in Japanese. It's "SHIKYUU" in Japanese. When only a kanji is seen, "SHIKYUU" will be sign of the astrological sign. And a womb also writes "baby's sign” in Japanese. I find the shape to be really very similar to a shrine and a womb. There is an approach to Shrine, and there is a place where I'll come to the inside, and the inside isn't seen any more. A womb has a birth canal, and the inside isn't seen any more. Both ways are called "SANDOU" in Japanese. It's complicated talk, isn't it? By the way The researcher of the Jomon period who has that says. There was belief that the dead return to a womb and start a trip to the mortal world from there. So, the Shinto, originally, it may be the one affected by the Jomon period.

My mother cut a womb off by uterus cancer. I saw the womb. I found to come from the inside by very beautiful pink. But what would be over the womb? And if I die, do I return over it? so I wonder there.
